Positano & Pompeii Italy Vlog | Beaches & Ruins!

Ciao and welcome to our Positano and Pompeii Italy Vlog! In this video, we explore the cliffside town of Positano and the ancient city of Pompeii.

After arriving in Italy and dealing with an issue at the rental car counter, we drove straight from the airport to Positano for those quintessential beach views. Positano did not disappoint! We so wish we had more time to walk around Positano and enjoy everything there is to do there. The beach was Instagram pretty and the town built into the cliffs took our breath away (so did all the stairs!).

After the quick stop in Positano, we drove down the Amalfi Coast to Naples where we would explore the archeological site of Pompeii. Pompeii is famous for being extremely well preserved after an eruption of nearby Mt. Vesuvius covered the entire area in thick ash. Walking around Pompeii, you can see the bodies of humans and animals preserved in the moment they died. Impactful, for sure.

Pompeii and Positano are easily added to your Italian holiday and both are must-see places in Italy, especially when traveling to Naples! As always, we’ll see you in our next video as we Keep Going Places!
