How To Remove Indicators in TradingView 2025

What Are Indicators in TradingView?

Indicators are tools (like RSI, MACD, or Moving Averages) added to your chart to analyze price data. Sometimes charts can get cluttered, so removing or hiding them keeps your workspace clean.

🖥️ How To Remove Indicators in TradingView (Desktop / Web Version)
Option 1: From the Chart Directly

Open your chart on TradingView.com
.

Locate the indicator’s name (e.g., RSI, MACD, EMA) shown above or below the chart.

Hover your mouse over the indicator label.

Click the “X” (remove) icon that appears next to the name.

💡 This instantly removes that specific indicator.

Option 2: From the “Indicators & Strategies” Panel

Click “Indicators” (top toolbar, represented by a “∑” or beaker icon).

Go to the “My Scripts” or “Favorites” tab if your indicator is custom or saved.

Click the trash bin (🗑️) or right-click Remove next to the indicator name.

Option 3: From the “Object Tree” Panel

Click the “Object Tree” icon (usually on the right toolbar, looks like stacked layers).

Under the “Indicators” section, you’ll see all the ones currently active.

Right-click the one you want to remove and select “Remove”.

Or click the eye icon 👁️ to just hide it temporarily.
