Winegrowing in Denmark

The small vineyard Garbolund lies 50 kilometres north of Copenhagen outside the village of Annisse. The owner of the vineyard, Jette Haugaard, invited us to the harvest which was in mid-Oktober. Her friends and family helped her picking the many grapes.The weather has been especially bad this year for the Danish winemakers, but Jette still hopes to get around a 1000 bottles out of her hard work.
