President Biden has told Israel there are “no excuses” for not allowing more humanitarian aid into Gaza.
The United Nations is warning that a quarter of the population of Gaza are close to starvation.
However some Israeli protesters are blocking aid convoys at the border, to prevent food reaching Gaza. Among them are family members of people taken hostage by Hamas in the October 7th attacks in Israel. They say no food aid should enter Gaza until all the hostages are released.
