It looks like we have a new uber driver feature. In response to AB5 Uber made the change late last year to show drivers in California the customer dropoff location before they took the trip. This lead to many drivers decline rides that were perceived as unfavorable. This new drive pass feature is an attempt by Uber to incentivize Uber drivers to accept more trips.
