This might be one of the funniest episodes of The Ricky Gervais Show I’ve watched so far. In The Ricky Gervais Show Season 2 Episode 5, “Insects,” Karl Pilkington shares his observations about ants, moths and other creatures before wondering which animal would come out on top if everything were suddenly the same size as a human. Naturally, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant have plenty of questions about Karl’s logic.

And somehow, that is only the beginning. Between Karl’s stories about the creatures he has observed, a newly discovered sea creature and one of the most unforgettable poems ever committed to paper, this episode just kept getting better.

I genuinely think Insects is one of my favourite episodes of the series so far. Karl was operating on another level, Ricky was completely losing it, and I spent most of the episode laughing along with them.
