The Missing Course in Computer Science: Cloud Architecture

Did you know Netflix runs on Amazon’s computers?
Most computer science programs will teach you how to build stuff that only runs on your own laptop — maybe a mobile app if you're lucky. But in the real world, apps run across hundreds or thousands of computers. That’s where cloud architecture comes in.
In this video, I talk about what cloud architecture actually is, why it’s missing from most CS curriculums, and how learning it helped me as a software engineer. I also talk a bit about getting cloud certified (I did the AWS Solutions Architect and Cloud Practitioner with Adrian Cantrill’s courses).
If you've ever wondered how Netflix, iMessage, or any big app really works under the hood — this is the stuff nobody teaches you, but every engineer ends up needing to learn.
