How staying confident, prepared, and excited helped Jada Ross cover the National Championship at 19

To be successful in the sports journalism world, resiliency, preparation, and a good attitude are essential traits. It's a cutthroat industry that has limited opportunities. University of Florida Journalism Student Jada Ross is aware of that and knows that if she's going to be like one of the many great broadcasters from her school, she needs to be persistent, excited and confident. In this conversation, Jada talks about how despite being just 19, she's already put herself in multiple spots to cover many national sporting events, how experiences at the U.S. Open and NBA Paris Games helped her be ready to cover the Florida Gators win the National Championship, the key to navigating the nerves of covering high stakes events, and more.
