hello everyone so how to use Trello with
slack how to add tasks from your slack
channels directly to your Trello board
so first of all what you need to do you
need to install your trailer app into
slack it's free you don't need to have
grand anything you just need to go to
your apps header and then press this
plus button and then you need to type
name of your app so it will just type
Travie and then you will need to add it
so I already installed it so now it is
installed next thing you need to do is
you need to link a specific board
towards a specific channel so in order
to do that you need to type trailer link
and then board URL so let's just go to
my boards and here let's just type this
sport so I will copy URL of this board
and pass it here and enter
so after it was done I can see that -
channel is not associated with my board
which is called ideas yes so you can see
it here and I need to choose default
list and so here I have product
marketing for example I can choose that
my default list would be product yeah
and after this I can just start creating
tasks all trailer commands in slack
start with Trello so let's just add add
new task 1 and it was added you can
select quick actions right here in slack
so you can set due date for example
let's put it tomorrow
I can put some label let's put yellow
and I can attach some conversation as
well so this slack conversation will be
attached to this specific task
so now we can just go to this Trello
board and as you can see it was created
here and the conversation is attached
the due date is set and the label is
yellow so it's that's how it works you
know I was also checking out some advice
from trailer itself they have a really
handy infographic here so let's just go
through it so all comments in slack
start with Strada so the same thing as
we did link your board trellis at least
you need to set your default leads
that's what we did
then you need to add a new card and you
can assign teammates then you can like
add a new card and assign a new team
member you can comment you can set a due
date you can search for specific card to
bring it up on the channel you can
search specific card or board you can
unlink you can verify your user you can
reset your trial account and you can
send feedback to trauma and ask for help
yeah that's how it works basically and I
I find it really useful if you like
trailer and you like slack it's I
personally think it's one of the best
combinations out there of things to do
software with with your message and a
pitch is slack another trick you can do
is enable
slack power up in travel I will talk

the idea is that if you add this power
up all new tasks which are created in
Trello will be going to your slack
channel so it's just other way around
