Pearly Gates - One Time Too Many (Live on Swedish TV)

I first met Pearly Gates at a Jocelyn Brown concert at the Jazz Café in London a few years ago and couldn't believe it was actually her before I walked up and asked her.

I have been a fan of this glamourous lady for many years and was so pleased when she agreed to record two songs for Night Dance Records, namely this 1970s-style disco stomper "One Time Too Many" and the soul fingersnapper "Stop For Love".

In December, I was invited to appear on TV by Kanal Lokal in Malmö, Sweden, and I was so pleased when Pearly agreed to fly over from London to perform the songs live-to-tape on TV. Both songs are available on our current album "THE PLAN" together with 18 other tracks by a selection of other excellent singers, namely Evelyn Thomas, Corine Armstrong, Tahira Jumah, Pamela Ivonne-Cole, Donna Williams and Erire. The album comes in a lavish digipac release with a full colour 16 page booklet with glossy photographs and extensive liner notes.
