2012-05-10 Auckland Hum

(!) It is better to listen this recording on acoustic system which able to reproduce low frequency sounds. Laptop speakers are not fits.

After a few years living in Auckland I'd definitely say that it is one of these large freighters moored near the Auckland container terminal. Sound spreads bit further in the mist (because of particles of water in the air), and there is the mist on the picture, as you can see.

I can hear it from my home in Meadowbank, but here at Orakei Marina it really loud.
