‘Hallelujah’ was the 6th single released from, Jeff Buckley’s only completed album, ‘Grace’.

The Grace album was released on August 23rd, 1994; however, Hallelujah was not released until May 2007, 10-years after Jeff Buckley’s ill-fated death.

Hallelujah was written, and originally recorded, by Leonard Cohen; though Jeff Buckley’s cover remains one of the most-acclaimed versions of the song. His version has been used in countless films and television shows; furthermore, it will be inducted into the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry, in the United States, announced on April 2nd, 2014.
