Exciting news! The High Line is now open from noon to 8pm daily. Our team has worked closely with our partners at NYC Parks to safely welcome you again with a free timed-entry reservation system, reduced operating hours and amenities, and limited capacity in order to allow for social distancing. Free timed-entry passes are now available for visits through November 8.

The High Line is currently open from Gansevoort Street to 30th Street. All visitors must enter at the corner of Gansevoort Street and Washington Street, or at 23rd Street, and move northward. One-directional movement is essential for social distancing on narrow paths and stairs.

Stairs at 14th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 26th, 28th, and 30th streets will be exit-only. Elevators at Gansevoort, 14th, 23rd, and 30th streets will be available for entry or exit for people with mobility access needs, but only northward movement is permitted. The section between 30th Street and 11th Avenue and 34th Street and 12th Avenue is closed. If you try to enter at access points in this section, signage will direct you to the Gansevoort Street or 23rd Street entry.

The Hudson Yards ramp will be exit-only. At 30th Street, you will be able to go from the High Line to Hudson Yards. In order to maintain one-way movement, access from Hudson Yards back to the High Line will be closed.

The High Line is a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. Saved from demolition by neighborhood residents and the City of New York, the High Line opened in 2009 as a hybrid public space where visitors experience nature, art, and design.
