ABOUT DOUG PLESS

Doug began trading options around 2008, focusing on premium selling strategies. He learned to trade options from a variety of traders and mentors, including Don Kaufman, Scott Kramer, Dan Sheridan, and Tom Sosnoff. In 2017, he left a career in engineering and information technology and began trading full time. After being introduced to futures trading in 2019, he began to seek a deeper understanding of the futures markets, order flow, and why price reacts at certain levels. He discovered Bookmap in early 2020 and SpotGamma later that year. He currently day trades futures and stocks full time, actively participates in the Bookmap Discord chatroom, posts content daily in the chatroom and on Twitter, and writes articles for SpotGamma.
