"After a stop-over in Dubai we finally arrive in Cape Town and a short drive down to Simon's Town reveals some wild coastal winds that are going to play havoc with our shark diving plans. We assess the conditions and its obvious we are going to struggle with our three main species - seven gil, mako and blue sharks. To pass the time we dive with some playful seals and then finally brave the offshore winds looking for the mako and blue sharks, however we are completely blown out. The days pass by without a single shark encounter but finally the winds drop and we enter the enchanting kelp in search for the elusive seven gill sharks." -- Jason Isley, co-founder of Scubazoo.
