Volvo Stand Walk Around ConExpo 2020 | COVID-19 Concerns

Just a few days before ConExpo was set to open its doors to the public, one of its biggest exhibitors sent out a devastating press release. Volvo would not be attending this years show, despite having spent a considerable amount of money and effort on the show. The fears of Coronavirus/ Covid19 meant that Volvo would abandon their already built stand. Although some North American representatives did man the stand, there weren't any product specialists available.

We have complete respect for Volvo and their choice not to attend since it shows loyalty to their employees by putting their health and safety first.

The stand had several main features, like the R100E in the centre surrounded by a walkway up to the cab as well as the bespoke Gold Rush excavator made for the Discovery TV show.
