Vince McMahon was correct: Bret screwed Bret. That's what Sport's Illustrated, Robin Lundberg thinks. I'll tell you why he's totally wrong about WWE's Montreal Screwjob.

Before we jump into the video, I need to make it clear that the title isn't my words. That is a quote from a wrestling “analyst” named Robin Lundberg from Sports Illustrated. With the WWE Survivor Series PPV taking place in just five days, the infamous Montreal Screwjob has been brought up again. This time around, this employee from Sports Illustrated has said that Vince McMahon was ultimately correct saying that Bret screwed Bret.

I don’t know about you, but I think this actually ruined all of the credibility for Sports Illustrated in the wrestling department. The media company was never really a credible source to begin with because most of their employees don’t really focus on wrestling meaning they lack this history and knowledge. But this is just such a bad take that I had to make a video on it.

Usually, I have these bizarre opinions where I attempt to convince my audience to see my perspective. That won’t be the case for this video. We will be dissecting Lundberg’s hot take explaining why he’s just wrong about this one. I have too much respect for Bret Hart for this man to try to just blatantly disrespect him with all of this nonsense.

It’s also funny because if you just watch the Wrestling With Shadows documentary, you can debunk most of his points. Robin Lundberg couldn’t do 90 minutes of research. I’m not entirely sure if he just didn’t do the research or if he wanted to say something controversial for some clicks, but just listen to the first thing he says.
