Joey Wilson If You Don't Want My Love
Philadelphia artist Joey Wilson released this original video from his first and only album, "Going Up." Signed by Danny Goldberg (later Nirvana's manager) and Paul Fishkin to their new label Modern Records in 1980, distributed by Atlantic. They then signed Stevie Nicks to her solo deal. "Going Up" was produced by Blondie keyboard player Jimmy Destri. Joey played gigs in Philly until his untimely death at the age of 43 on Christmas Eve 1997 when he died of a heroin overdose. He was an important part of the Philly Music Scene. A member of Youth Camp with David Uosikkinen (The Hooters) and John Kuzma (The Hooters and solo career). Their song "All My Mondays" got airplay and is covered by David Uosikkinen's In the Pocket as an essential song from Philadelphia.
