Sauces Channel Islands Eagle Cam ~ Banding Day; Removal Of Eaglets Part One 5.1.18

Dr. Sharpe went up to the Sauces nest today and removed the three eaglets for banding. Dr. Sharpe is a true eagle whisperer as his gentle and calm presence keeps the eaglets safe so that he may secure them and bring them down the tree. They will be measured, blood samples taken, and banded on both legs. They will be returned to the nest shortly. Thank you for watching!

A-40 is the male eagle hatched 2005 and A-48 the female hatched in 2006. The had three eaglets this season.
