Hundreds of locals in New York City marched together through the streets on Wednesday afternoon while the nation awaits the final results of the 2020 US Presidential elections.
The demonstrators held a huge banner reading: "Every vote counts, count every vote," and chanted slogans such as: "This is what democracy looks like."
The Trump campaign has said it will call for a recount in Wisconsin, after the state was called for Biden by a narrow margin, while it has also filed a lawsuit to stop the count in Michigan, saying that they have not been given access to watch the opening of ballots and the count in many locations.
Speaking on Tuesday night Trump called the election results a "fraud" and said he would be going to the U.S. Supreme Court over them. Biden called these calls "outrageous" and said his legal team was on standby to prevent this.
Votes were still being counted in several states on Wednesday with Biden enjoying a narrow lead over Trump in the electoral college and the popular vote, with the results in several battleground states yet to be declared.
