Unlike my previous videos, this one wasn't shot on an iPhone but rather an old Huawei, which doesn't work well under lowlight conditions and adds a lot of noise and grain into the final footage.

Some cameras – like the two I’m using – also have issues with capturing bright, blue LED lights, making the footage oversaturated or "burned" with that color. This is especially worse when the lights are pointed directly at the lenses, which exactly what happened here. (You can see the same but less drastic effect in the original overhead footage I posted a few days ago.)

When I realized the whole thing doesn’t look good, I stopped recording my phone after a few songs. But at one point I got an idea on how to salvage the phone footage by experimenting the brightness/contrast and do a lot of color adjustments. The final lo-fi look (plus the higher quality sound from the overhead camera) makes it fitting, I think, for something as rough like skramz.
