Snorkel Biscayne Bay - 3 People Died - I Went To Hospital

The water in Florida has been contaminated more and more for decades. It has now gotten to the point where even relatively remote areas where I had gone to see cleaner water and the beautiful diversity of life around coral and mangroves are severely effected.

It is so bad that people have been dying from swimming in the water for several years. They tell us its not so bad. Many swim and only a few have died. Thats literally the argument they use here.

So I was in two hospitals in a week. Three other people died the same week from swimming near where I had been swimming.

Florida used to have crystal clear water. There were fish and coral everywhere. You never hesitated to eat fish, lobsters or even oysters caught here. But its not that way anymore.
