How I Became a Software Engineer in Japan (With No Experience)

I came to Japan on the JET Program, doing mostly translation/interpretation work.
After that I joined a tech company, also doing translation/interpretation.
During that time I started learning more about tech and decided to try switching to an engineering role in that company. I had to learn coding and other technical skills by myself but managed to do it through self-study, taking an online class, and joining a bootcamp.
It was quite difficult but I managed to pull it off, and I think anyone else can do that same if they put in the work.
