Prayer for Stewardship and Generosity

Are you asking God to help you manage what He has given you wisely, live with an open hand, and honor Him through generosity?
Heavenly Father,
I come before You with gratitude, recognizing that everything I have comes from You. My time, my resources, my abilities, my opportunities, and every blessing in my life are gifts from Your hand. Lord, teach me to be a faithful steward of all You have entrusted to me, and shape my heart to be generous, willing, and joyful in giving.

Father, I do not want to live carelessly with what You have given me. I do not want to waste, hoard, or misuse Your blessings. Help me handle every resource with wisdom, discipline, and humility. Teach me to see myself not as an owner, but as a steward accountable to You.

Give me wisdom in how I manage what I have.
Give me discipline in how I spend, save, and use resources.
Give me discernment in what to keep and what to release.
Give me a generous heart that reflects Your kindness.
Give me joy in giving and faith in trusting You.

Lord Jesus, remove greed, fear, selfishness, and anxiety from my heart. Do not let money, possessions, or comfort become idols in my life. Help me trust that as I honor You, You will provide for my needs. Teach me to live with contentment and with open hands, knowing that You are my source and not the things I possess.

Father, help me be generous to those in need, faithful in giving, and willing to share with a cheerful spirit. Let my generosity not be for appearance or praise, but out of love, compassion, and obedience. Show me when to give, where to sow, and how to bless others in a way that honors You.

Teach me also to steward my time well. Help me use my days wisely, my gifts faithfully, and my opportunities purposefully. Let me not waste what could be used for Your glory. Show me how to invest my life in what has eternal value.

Lord, if I have been careless, correct me. If I have been fearful, reassure me. If I have been selfish, soften my heart. Make me faithful in little and faithful in much. Let the way I handle what You have given me become an act of worship before You.

Thank You, Father, that You are generous, faithful, and good. Thank You that You provide seed to the sower and bread to the eater. I surrender my resources, my habits, and my heart to You today. Make me a wise steward and a cheerful giver who reflects Your goodness in all things.
