Why does Japan have an endangered population?

Japan, the third largest economy in the world faces many economic problems with respect to its economic growth, but there is perhaps none more dangerous than the decrease of its population.

Japan now loses an average of 300 thousand inhabitants per year, if the statistical trend continues like this, it is likely that the country will be left without a population in 500 years, but what causes all of this?
