I Built a Secret Bunker Under a Japanese Shrine

I built a fully equipped secret underground survival bunker hidden beneath an ancient Japanese Shinto shrine forest in Nara, Japan. Starting from a sacred gravel courtyard surrounded by towering cedar trees and a red torii gate, I marked out the excavation area, dug 3 meters deep through root-laced forest soil, and built a complete hidden structure concealed under weathered wooden panels and natural forest debris.
Inside the underground chamber I installed a full waterproof and insulated floor and wall system, traditional Japanese tatami flooring, a Japanese sleeping platform with futon, wooden storage chests, a low chabudai table with survival supplies, wall-mounted tools, a complete radio communications setup, and a full electrical system — all hidden beneath one of Japan's most sacred environments.
The contrast between ancient tradition above ground and modern survival technology below is something you have never seen before.
