So,on the 3rd day we decided to go for the Shillong city sight seeing which included Umium lake (Barapani Lake),Laitlum,Ward’s lake,Shillong Golf Field & Elephant Falls.After the sight seeing our plan was to reach the Dawki for camping beside the river.We hired a Car for just 3200 rupee for this whole day long trip.Among all the places i must say Laitlum was something we will miss everyday! The beauty of laitlum is impossible to describe! What a magnificent place it was! I wish I could go there everyday! Beside this,other places of shillong city was ordinary but then again Elephant falls was beautiful! I enjoyed every moment there in Shillong! After completing all the spots we went to Dawki bazar and had our dinner there at a Bengali Hotel.Then went to our Dawki river camping site.
