Concours d 'Elegance 't Loo 2017

The nicest garden party in the Netherlands has been held in the environs of Paleis Het Loo for a number of years now. Truly regal surroundings where everybody is welcome to celebrate the automobile. And everybody is present indeed, the press, dignitaries, guest from abroad, celebrities and everyone else who wants to have a great time. Nothing wis too much trouble to make this party a success. The most beautiful automobiles of the Netherlands and far beyond are present.There is of course the Concours d'Elegance, with a jury that judges according to international standards. Topped with their straw hats and equipped with impressive clipboards they do their rounds past the cars. The owner tells his story and the engine is revved. The bonnet is opened and with magnifying glasses the interior is judged for originality. If  your car doesn't match up to the original specifications for 100 percent, than there will be no prize for you. A party it may be, but it is serious business here in Apeldoorn. Noblesse oblige after all.
