I will be using PanPastels for this tutorial but if you don't have those you can easily follow along with oils or acrylics! The techniques for using PanPastels are much like painting with wet opaque media. If you want to try a similar technique (before shelling out for PanPastels) you can use inexpensive eye shadow but in the long run panpastels are actually cheaper LOL!

Supplies:
Sofft tools and sponges (or brushes if using paint)
Canson Mi Tintes paper in a soft green shade
PanPastels in the following colors:
Titanium white
Perm. Red Shade
Chrom. Oxide Green
Burnt Sienna Extra Dark
Diarylide Yellow Tint
Burnt Sienna
Yellow Ochre
Turquoise
Pthalo Blue EX dark
Magenta ex dark

Black pearl medium fine texture (optional)
Pastel pencils (optional)
Soft pastels for final highlights (I am using Schminke)
