I purchased this brand new genuine Mercedes Thermostat for the OM642 Engine, Mercedes Part Number: A6422002215
I notice this rattling or jiggling noise when I took it out of the box. I think it's coming from a jiggle valve in the housing, which I think is their to let air pass through the thermostat housing.
What do you think? Is this Rattling Noise Normal?
