AccuWeather’s Brandon Buckingham says every second counts overnight, as roughly 30 million people from Chicago to Nashville may see violent cyclones. The National Weather Service has issued hazardous alerts for dangerous lightning, deadly flooding on busy roads, and baseball-sized hail smashing cars and glass.
