สัปปายะสภาสถาน In Bangkok they are about to finish the largest Parliament Building in the World, overtaking the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest Romania.

The Sappaya-Sapasathan has a area of 424,000 sqm ( 4,563,898 sqft) and consists of 11 floors. The Pentagon in the US is still the worlds largest government building with 620.000 sqm (6,636,360 sqft)

The Thai Parliament is constructed on the Northern part of the Dusit Area directly at the River. If you take the orange river express boat from Saphan Taksin to Nonthaburi, you will pass it.

The budget for the building was approximately 23 billion baht, it can accommodate more than 5,000 people and has parking for 2,000 cars.
