PLACES WE WENT (in order of appearance - blog post coming at the end of our trip):
General’s Highway leading to The General Sherman Tree - great spot in Sequoia National Park!
Bocca
John Muir Lodge (where we stayed in Sequoia National Park) - https://annaed.it/2X0DjOu - a decent enough spot in the National Park with beds that were SO COMFY.
Yosemite West Loft Condominium (where we stayed in Yosemite National Park) - https://annaed.it/2wiR1Az - pricey for what you get, but you pay for the brilliant location here.
Tunnel View - just as good as everyone says, get there early as it fills up quick with buses full of tourists QUICK.
Mirror Lake Trail - an easy little hike and Mirror Lake is UNREAL (we walked along to Lower Yosemite Falls afterwards and that was beautiful too, although much, much busier).
Mist Trail & Vernal Falls - a slightly more challenging walk that was pretty busy, but SO cool! Recommend turning right along towards Clark Point at the top of Vernal Falls to get off the beaten track a bit and for an easier way back down.
The Coachman Hotel - https://annaed.it/2W0Z4Bx - absolutely LOVED this place, such a cool spot. Friendly service, chic rooms and here for all the little special touches.
Lake Forest Beach & Emerald Bay - both places to stop off for great views around Lake Tahoe.

Magpie Cafe - https://annaed.it/2JF45ZE - nice spot for brunch/lunch in Sacramento
California State RailRoad Museum - https://annaed.it/2K3q5Nt - I have to admit that this was actually a brilliant museum. So much fun!
Beltane Ranch - https://annaed.it/30K3j32 - we blew the budget by staying here, but it was AMAZING. Our favourite place we’ve stayed this trip so far.
Girl & The Fig - https://annaed.it/2QqjptJ - the Strawberry Salad was SO FRICKING GOOD.
