Well, this surprisingly ended up being way easier than I thought it was going to be. This is one of the only two encounters I haven't done solo in the game yet, and the only reason I didn't bother getting these done last season was due to being burnt out on the game. I put maybe 2-3 hours into it last season and I was tired of it. Years of playing mostly Destiny and doing every solo challenge along the way, every single season, every single content release, I just needed a break. So I took the end of last season to recharge, and to also enjoy playing Elden Ring which I was waiting years for. But as always, I wanted to make sure I have every solo challenge done in the game that's possible, so here's Solo Acquisition first.

Other than the few hours I put in last season, this took me another 4-5 hours this time around. 1 hour the day before getting the gear and setup right, and somewhere around 3-4 hours last night to knock it off. About 2 hours into attempts yesterday I had another round 3 where I had 8 symbols, but missed a grenade on a teleporting Knight and wasted too much time for the last room. I was a little annoyed about that, but at least it didn't take too long after to get done.

At first I really didn't enjoy this encounter, as it felt like it can be heavily controlled by RNG as to how easy or hard it is. That can throw you off a bit with the rhythm of it while learning it, but once you spend a little bit more time on it, you get a good feel for it. There's still some heavy RNG scenarios that make it significantly harder than it otherwise should be, and similarly it can be one of the easier things to do if you get good RNG. Outside of that though, it's not too bad.

All that's left now is Solo Caretaker and I'll be back to having every single encounter done solo again. That just seems like yet another RNG challenge, so I'll get that done at some point during the season. There's also different ways to do some encounters I've already done solo, but maybe I'll revisit them if there's nothing else to do. Oh and of course, the checkpoint I was going to try and keep from doing this encounter ended up being softlocked.
