Lets get right to it, you may not want to wait for the next picnic or barbecue to have watermelon because in one study participants with a BP higher than 120 mmHg, consumed watermelon extract for 6 weeks and lowered their blood pressure from 152/89 to 137/82. In another 6 week study after consuming watermelon extract the people whose average age was 48 years-old lowered their BP from 137.8/79.2 to 126/72.3. And there’s more studies which I won’t bore you with but I’ve included links to all the studies in the video down below. Those are pretty impressive results so how is watermelon, which is made up of 92% water, so good at lowering BP?
