Geofencing in Home Assistant - TUTORIAL

This Home Assistant tutorial explains how to set up geofencing in Home Assistant using the proximity sensor. You can define an area around your house and detect if members of your family are entering or leaving the area using the person entities and a proximity sensor. For instance, if someone approaches this area around your house, you can already turn the heating on and if everybody left the area around your house, you could automatically turn down the heating again. Next to that, I will show you how you can get a notification on your phone when someone enters or leaves this area in this step-by-step tutorial.
