1) Identify characteristics of the COVID-19 pandemic that may impact the mental health of mothers and young children

2) Describe the rationale for examining the effects of the pandemic on maternal and child mental health and the mother-child relationship in the larger context of life histories

3) Recognize potential mechanisms by which COVID-19 has affected psychosocial functioning and relationship quality in families with young children
