A Shiny Application to Track the Progress on Food and Agriculture-related SDG Indicators

During this Extended UNSD Brown Bag we were extremely happy to have Aida Khalil and Stefano di Candia from the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) with us who presented on A Shiny Application to Track the Progress on Food and Agriculture-related SDG Indicators.

Aida and Stefano presented the FAO SDG Progress Assessment App: a web-based tool designed to automatize the assessment of progress made at the national, regional, and global level towards the achievement of the SDGs. The developed tool allows measuring the current status and trend of SDG Indicators and Targets based on the FAO progress assessment methodology.

It was the main objective of the webinar to gather feedback on the developed application and proposed approach, and to discuss possible extensions and future developments, as well as opportunities for collaboration across UN system entities.
