In this history documentary we look at the personal level of the Roman army which fought for Julius Caesar in his Civil War at the end of the Roman Republic. These heroes emerge from all ranks of Julius Caesar's army from the lowly legionary, to the centurion, to even the officers. This includes incidents at famous battles like Pharsalus, Thapsus, Munda, and more.
