See Channel Drain System Working with Sump Pump Discharge, Follow Up after 3 inch rainfall

Sump pumps work great to move water out to the street. Here we are collecting the water with a Channel Drain across the driveway. I have come back out to check the system after a huge rainfall. Take a look to see how well the system works. It not only protected the garage, but helped keep the crawl space dry too!

The channel drain collects the water from the drive. It protects the garage from flooding. Then the water flows into the sump pit and the zoeller M53 pump lifts the water up and sends it to the street.

This follow video was a request from a viewer. Its actually difficult to come back while raining to film a system working.

I don't want to sound like we are perfect, but once we install a system, it works great and we do not come back unless the homeowner has a new project, or buys a new home and needs a drain installed. Yeah sure, of course we return if there is a problem, and we will make it right, but its really rare!

I have posted several videos that show how a system works and why it works with or with gravel, sump pump or discharge to daylight (gravity).

2) DIY - Using a little ingenuity and labor, you can do any of these drainage systems, from Crawl Space and Basement Waterproofing, to channel drain and french drains in the yard!

3) When choosing your contractor, price is not the only factor.. Choose one that you trust and like. They are the ones that would come back if you have a problem.
