I have designed a keyboard case that fits the Makesenstudio 3D Printing Keyboard Kit. This custom 3D-printable keyboard case was designed with a sleek, festive aesthetic inspired by classic candy cane striping. The goal of the design was to create a keyboard case that clearly fits a holiday theme while maintaining a clean, modern look that works year-round on a desk.

The case is designed to be printed in two separate pieces, which improves print reliability and makes assembly easier. The candy cane stripes are integrated directly into the geometry of the case and are positioned at a 45-degree angle. This orientation allows the stripes to be printed efficiently without excessive support material and helps reduce filament waste during color changes, whether you are using manual filament swaps or a multi-material printing system.

This design was created specifically to be compatible with the Makesenstudio 3D Printing Keyboard Kit and uses the original hardware included with the kit. No modifications to the PCB or electronics are required, though test fitting is always recommended to account for printer tolerances and material choice. The case prints well in common materials such as PLA+ or PETG and is optimized for standard FDM printers. The fitment is very tight by design. Make sure parts are carefully aligned during assembly and disassembly.
