Smart Hospital Ward Monitoring & Infection Diffusion System | EC1451 Assignment 2 | Python OOP ProjectIn this video, we present our Python programming project developed for EC1451 – Fundamentals of Programming (Assignment 2). Our system simulates a Smart Hospital Ward Monitoring and Infection Diffusion System using core Python concepts including Object-Oriented Programming, NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
📌 What We Cover:
OOP Design – Abstract classes, Inheritance, and Polymorphism (Person → Patient → CriticalPatient / RegularPatient)
Generating 50 patient records using NumPy random functions
Statistical Analysis – Mean, Median, Min, Max, and Standard Deviation of patient temperatures
Pandas DataFrame – Patient data table, summary statistics, and CSV export
Random Walk Simulation – Modeling infected patient movement in a hospital corridor
Infection Diffusion Simulation – Spreading infection across a 20×20 hospital ward grid
Data Visualization using Matplotlib
