Making Mazamorra: A Taste of Costa Rica's Culture at Hotel Punta Islita

Hey Adventurers! Join us, Matt and Adi, as we take part in a cooking demonstration at Hotel Punta Islita, where we learn to make the delicious Costa Rican dish, mazamorra! 🍽️

In this video, we meet Joel, who guides us through this immersive cultural experience, showing us how to prepare mazamorra step by step. After making it ourselves, we get to taste the delicious dish! To top it off, the wonderful ladies from the cultural experience surprise me by singing Happy Birthday 🎉.

As part of the experience, we also had the opportunity to make candles using beach sand and keychains from natural materials found in the beautiful surroundings of Islita! 🌿 We’ll share our experience in these activities in a future video if you’re interested, so stay tuned!
