Copilot Studio | Power Automate Flow Integration (Part - 12)
In this Part 12 of the Microsoft Copilot Studio series, we continue from the autonomous registration automation we created in the previous video.
In the last video, we used triggers and agent flows so that a Microsoft Form submission could start the registration process without any chat. The agent checked availability, created the registration, updated Dataverse, and sent the confirmation email.
Now we are taking this one step further.
In this video, we integrate the Copilot agent with Power Automate. This time, no user sends a message and no one submits a form. Instead, a scheduled cloud flow runs every 24 hours and calls the existing Copilot agent.
The business scenario is simple. Workshop organisers need a daily update about seat availability. They want to know which sessions are sold out and which sessions are running low, so they can take action before it is too late.
In this hands-on demo, we will create a scheduled Power Automate cloud flow. The flow will call the Copilot agent, the agent will check the Dataverse Sessions table, and then it will return a structured summary. Power Automate will use that summary to send a daily email to the organiser.
The important point is that we are not creating a new topic. We are not creating a new agent flow either. We are using Power Automate to execute the existing Copilot agent and using the agent as the intelligence layer.
Topics covered:
* Power Automate integration with Copilot Studio
* Scheduled cloud flow
* Calling an existing Copilot agent
* Agent as an intelligence layer
* Dataverse Sessions table
* Daily seat availability summary
* Sold out sessions
* Low seat availability
* Structured agent response
* Email summary automation
This video is useful for Power Platform makers, cloud architects, solution architects, AI engineers, and anyone learning how to build practical business automation using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
