2020 Expedition: Gliding Over a Brine Pool at Kerbit Deep

Brine pools are large areas of brine on the ocean basin, and have a salinity three to eight times greater than the surrounding ocean.

This video is from Phase Three of our 2020 Expedition. In Phase Three, we're diving in the Red Sea which has a maximum depth of 3,040 m (9,970 ft) in the central Suakin Trough.
