Migrate VMware VMs to OpenStack — Yonder Open-Source Migration (Demo)

Yonder is an open-source platform that migrates virtual machines from
VMware vSphere / ESXi to OpenStack, Proxmox, and OpenShift (KubeVirt).

In this demo, we migrate VMs from a VMware ESXi host to an OpenStack cloud,
covering the full cold-migration pipeline from source discovery to a running
instance on Nova.

What you'll see:
- Source inventory discovery from VMware vCenter / ESXi
- Creating a migration plan and mapping each VM (storage + network)
- Cold migration pipeline: snapshot → extract → convert to qcow2 → adapt guest
- Automatic guest fixup: initramfs regeneration, virtio drivers, network reconfig
- Glance image import and Nova instance boot on OpenStack
- Source MAC address preservation across the migration
