Rust is finally getting a brand new electricity source: The Water Wheel! Currently testing on the Staging Branch, this new generator converts river kinetic energy into base power. In this quick video, I show you how to place the Water Wheel, how much power it generates, and a hilarious trick to generate electricity by running inside it manually!

Rust Water Wheel Features (Staging Branch):
• Power Output: Currently generates a steady 25 power from river currents.
• Placement: Must be placed on a foundation in the water (Rivers work best).
• Manual Generation: You can hop inside the wheel and use the auto-run bind to act like a hamster wheel and generate power while AFK!

⌨️ Helpful Console Command:
Press F1 and type: bind y forward;sprint (Use this to auto-run inside the wheel!)
