ベンチャーズ Ventures inspired "Ashkharhums Imn Dun Is" Աշխարհումս իմն դուն իս (cover) surf rock Mina Pang

Ok, how about a 300 year old Armenian song in surf rock style inspired by how The Ventures played Kyoto Doll and Paint it Black? Here comes "Ashkharhums Imn Dun Is" (Աշխարհումս իմն դուն իս), which means "In this world, you are mine", a really cool song reimagined by an Armenian band called "Reincarnation". The song was written by Sayat-Nova, an Armenian poet, musician and ashugh in 18th century. Mina and her old dad decided to give it a twist and here comes something you might like with surf rock elements. I think Mina was recording 6 guitar tracks (maybe more) for the song, except for old dad's rhythm guitar part.

This is a special song we have been wanting to do to mark the the number of our channel subscribers rolling over the number 1,000. It's small to many but a big milestone for us, and as promised, here comes something Mina and old dad have prepared for you as a gesture of gratitude for all the support you have been giving us. The making of the song was a bit delayed as Mina has been gigging outside and at school, and writing new songs and all, plus preparing for upcoming shows. Hey, late is better than never!

As she was preparing the different guitar layers, I think I heard her singing in Armenian. Who knows? Maybe one day she will surprise all of us, including me! hahaha!
