Excel Filter - Part 1 (Basic Excel Filters) Complete Tutorial

Excel filter is used to filter the rows of a table based on specific criteria that may be text, date or number. The method to insert filter in excel is go sort and filter option in Home tab. In sort and filter option select option Filter to insert filter on table. Before you go to this option make sure your selection is on table.
Rows can also be filtered or sorted based on color of cell.
