“Power & Peace = Self Control” - 3ABN Today Family Worship (TDYFW220001)

Self-control was once a cherished attribute. But to look at our world today, it’s as though self-control was nothing but a thing of the past. Nowadays it’s, “Anything goes! If it feels good, just do it!” Our society is swiftly becoming a society of no respect for anyone, or anything. Matthew 24: 12 tells us that, “Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Certainly, Christ’s prophetic words are now our reality! But as a child of God who desires Heaven to be our eternal home, what’s the problem with following in the footsteps of the world? Is there a really a higher standard? Does a moral absolute truly exist? or, has the Devil deceived us into believing that we can be one with the world and one with God? And really, what’s the problem if we slip into the muddy water of sinful thoughts and actions once in a while? Prayerfully, we will answer these questions in principle as we look into “Power & Peace = Self Control” for our Family Worship study during this program with Pastor Kenny & Chris Shelton along with their guests, Ryan & Stephanie Day and Eddie & Linda Clark.
